In the beginning of the WiFi years, a shared dormitory for two adjacent universities and incorporating the local community Catholic center is to be erected where the campuses meet. Envisioning a dynamic interaction between new social behaviors and a flexible architectural framework, the dorm provides interconnected living rooms and wireless hubs for each living room in the suites, intermixed with study rooms, chapels, and other common spaces. Dependency upon wireless signal strength as usage traffic constantly shifts will encourage residents to indirectly interact as they migrate within the building, like digital sprawl.
Architecture alone cannot change the world.
